JohnB1232013-11-21 16:19:00 A game called "Point-em-out, Knock-em-out" has made it's way to Lansing, and it's exactly how it sounds. The game consists of someone being randomly targeted, then attacked. It's a game that's been growing with popularity on the internet, with teenagers filming themselves punching unsuspecting victims. Lansing had it's first case of the game brought to light this summer, but it's possible it's been happening under the radar for months. On February 26th a man waiting for his six-year-old daughter to to dropped off from school had no idea he would be the city's first reported victim. "I saw the van circle twice and the second time three came out. I didn't suspect anything. I hadn't any enemies, or any reason to believe they would be looking to do anything to me." http://www.wilx.com/news/featured/headlines/Dangerous-Game---Point-em-Out-Knock-em-Out-231443411.html?device=phoneLibs, keep working at it ! 2013-11-21 16:18:11You'll lower the population because everyone will be bfuckin'. *Actual births will be considered coming from Immaculate Conceptions . There will be NO guilt . I could go on but, laughingly libshills are getting a boner reading this . How GOP fucked themselves on fillibuster lmao dr_lapin32013-11-21 16:15:18I must admit, I didn't expect Republicans to challenge this notion this quickly. And the reason is simple: Even with a truncated and compromised filibuster, Republicans were able to gum up the works to unprecedented levels. As Bill Sher at the Campaign for America's Future notes, the federal judiciary is now evenly balanced, with 390 GOP-appointed judges and 391 Democratic-appointed ones. However, there are 93 vacancies. Republicans could relent on Obama’s right to fill vacancies and keep the filibuster in place. Obama would get some more judges, but he would not be able to fill all the outstanding vacancies by next year considering that he has only identified nominees for about half of those seats. But if Republicans provoke the end of the filibuster, then I suspect the White House can quickly find another 50 or so judges without much fuss. In other words, surrendering on three judges would've allowed the GOP to continue obstructing the other 87. Provoking the Democrats into eliminating the filibuster, on the other hand, now allows Democrats to ram all 90 through with minimal trouble. And there's no longer any need to try and find judges that can pick up a handful of Republican votes, so they should prove better ideologically. This will also take the judiciary from a 50-50 partisan split to a 55-45 Democratic-appointed one. And we still have another three years of vacancies ahead of us before we choose our next president. unki got away § goodbyeGOP2013-11-21 16:15:06chs1 neg? Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) on the Senate floor: "He [Harry Reid] is not a dictator. He does not have the power to dictate how this Senate operates." 3. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on CNN: "What we really need is an anti-bullying ordinance in the Senate. I mean, now we’ve got a big bully. Harry Reid says he’s just gonna break the rules and make new rules." 4. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.): "They're governed by the newer members... who have never been in a minority, who are primarily driving this issue. They succeeded and they will pay a very, very heavy price for it." 6. Sen. Alexander, again, this time on the floor of the Senate: "This action today creates a perpetual opportunity for the tyranny of the majority because it permits a majority in this body to do whatever it wants to do any time it wants to do it. This should be called Obamacare II, because it is another example of the use of raw partisan political party for the majority to do whatever it wants to do any time it wants to do it." 7. Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) on his Facebook page: "Rather than fix the Obamacare disaster, today Harry Reid doubled down on the brass knuckles partisan power politics that produced it—jam it through, no compromise, unilaterally make up new rules whenever needed. This isn't just a shame for the Senate; it's scary and dictatorial for our country." http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2013/11/senate-republican-filibuster-nuclear-option-freakout Many are tweets I didn't bother to post.
